Dr Jennifer Robinson
Veterinarian, Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (IVAS)
Jennifer is a veterinary surgeon and certified veterinary acupuncturist (IVAS).
Since 2016 she has been privately consulting (Acupuncture, TCVM, geriatric and palliative care) at several clinics in Melbourne.
Jen graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine Hanover (Germany) in 2013 and completed an internship at Southpaws Specialty Surgery for Animals (Melbourne) in surgery, oncology and internal medicine. Dr Jen worked in general practice for several years, with a strong interest in integrative and geriatric medicine. During her work, Jen has encountered many cases, where conventional western medicine simply just wasn’t enough to help her patients. She undertook several courses in canine rehabilitation and geriatric care and completed her training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and veterinary acupuncture through IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) in 2016.
Jen is a member of the AVA (Australian Veterinary Association) and AVAG (Australian Veterinary Acupuncture Group), as well as CIVT (College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies), and IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society).
She also enjoys her work as director and tutor for the students of the Australian College of Veterinary Acupuncture.
